The right pressure is the one you can enjoy without bracing against it. Light pressure keeps the session soft and flowing. Medium pressure feels more deliberate. Firm pressure makes sense only when you genuinely prefer a stronger massage style.

01

What does light pressure feel like?

Light pressure uses gentle, broad contact and usually suits guests who want a slower relaxation visit. It can also be a sensible starting point when you are new to massage or unsure about sensitivity.

Aromatherapy or Swedish Massage can be adapted toward this style. Names do not lock you into one exact pressure, so discuss what feels right on the day.

02

When does medium pressure make sense?

Medium pressure sits between a surface-level touch and a very focused firm session. It often works well when you want a clear massage sensation without making pressure the main feature of the visit.

Pressure can vary by body area. Shoulders may tolerate more than calves, or the opposite may be true for you. Give area-by-area feedback instead of choosing one number for the entire session.

03

How should firm pressure feel?

Firm pressure should feel controlled rather than surprising. It can be strong, but the therapist should still be able to slow down or reduce the pressure when you ask.

Deep Tissue Massage is the clearest Eternal Twilight option when you prefer this style. It is not a fixed intensity. You remain in control of how light or strong the session feels.

04

What should you tell the therapist?

A useful conversation takes less than a minute. Mention your preferred pressure, sensitive areas, recent strain and any area you want avoided. During the session, simple instructions such as “a little lighter” or “keep this pressure” are enough.

Pressure can also change by area. You might prefer firmer work across the shoulders and lighter pressure elsewhere. Say this directly instead of settling for one level throughout.

05

Which Eternal Twilight services match each pressure level?

Aromatherapy and Swedish Massage are natural starting points for a lighter, flowing experience. Balinese can introduce more variation while staying adjustable. Deep Tissue suits guests who actively want firmer, focused pressure.

Thai Massage feels different because pressure is combined with movement and assisted stretching. Four Hands is defined by coordination, with both therapists following one shared pressure preference.

06

A quick pressure test during the first few minutes

Notice whether you can breathe normally and let the area relax. If you are tightening your shoulders, holding your breath or waiting for the pressure to end, ask for a change.

The best feedback is immediate and specific. Say “lighter on the shoulders” or “this pressure is good” so the therapist can respond without guessing.
